Notes
These are not win or lose games. They can't be played to a finish.
The only Pysol Tarock/Tarot card set currently suitable for use with
the cartomancy games is the Pamela Smith Tarot. It's the only one
with a complete set of upright and inverted images. It's also the
only one that has images that relate to the interpretations of the
meanings. Pressing the F4 key on the tableaux will put all the cards
in the inverted orientation, pressing twice will place them upright.
There are many versions of the meanings of each of the 78 cards in
a Tarot deck. Arthur Waite published a version to go along with Ms.
Smith's images. It's the reader's responsibility to use a set of
meanings that she's comfortable with and apply them to the questions
that are being asked and the fall of the cards. The complete text
of the Waite booklet describing his interpretation of the Tarot can
be found on the internet at
Sacred Texts Tarot
https://www.sacred-texts.com/tarot/.
The order of placing the cards in the pattern and the pattern used
are also up to the reader. Remember that any interpretation you may
find was made in a male supremisist society. Which is to say that it's
likely to be very hierarchical. Be creative! Be what you are
not what you're expected to be.
The card names and the order of the deal can be seen by pressing F2 or
by moving the pointer over the cards. To get the meanings of the cards
press F1 then in the document viewer press F2. You can also use the
Rules/Cards button in the top row of the document viewer buttons.
The complete text of the Waite interpretation of each card can be
seen by left clicking on the card.
The only set of tiles suitable for "I'Ching, The Book of Changes" is
"The Hexagrams" in six sizes. A left click on the tile will open the
document viewer with an abbreviated account of the current hexagram.
