    Between the late 1960's and the late 1990's the difference in pay for "Women's Work" and "Men's Work" increased from sixty-seven cents on the dollar to seventy cents on the dollar. Most of that one tenth of a cent per year increase was because "Men's Work" was paying a lot less. A minimum wage (kids) job in the early 1960's, adjusted for inflation to the late 2010's paid over $25 per hour. One hours pay would buy fifty postage stamps or eight gallons of gasoline.
